WEEK 7 : PRESENTATION

 Assalamualaikum sisters and brothers! Are you doing fine these days? I hope you are enjoying your days to the fullest even though this week may be the most hectic week ever as we all know that it is WEEK 11 and some of us might be at a peak of loaded assignments-- just like me HAHA :D

For your information, today is the last day we are having the weekly usrah session with our members. Basically, we are presenting our video assignment that was assigned to us on the other days. So, I am so eager to show the video to all of you in this post that represented our role plays in it. Hope you guys enjoy it!!

“And your Lord has decreed that you worship none but Him. And that you be dutiful to your parents…” (Al-‘Isra’:23)

 

 
In the above verse, Allah (SWT) places duty to the parents next to singling Him out in worship, which truly emphasises the high status He has given our parents. Furthermore, when one of the companions asked the Prophet (SAW) about the deeds most beloved to Allah (SWT), after mentioning performing prayers upon their stated times, he mentioned being good and dutiful to one’s parents. (Bukhari)

 

So, let us strive to attain an exemplary rank of adab with our parents, and let us not forget that our dealings with our parents can either be a cause for us to enter Hellfire or Paradise.

WEEK 4 : PILLARS OF IMAN

1)   Belief in Rasul and Anbiya' (The Messengers and The Prophets) - The fourth pillar is to   believe in all prophets and messengers sent by Allah   and that the prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, is the last of them.  Most of the messengers of Allah were sent to a specific nation except Prophet Muhammad, who was sent to guide all of mankind. It is a duty of Muslims to send salaams (Peace and Blessings of Allah) when mentioning the names of any of the Prophets. 2)  Belief in Qiyamah (The Resurrection Day) - Allah has set a certain period for the whole universe , whose end will be the final hour. WEEK 7 : THE VIRTUES FOUND IN HAJJ / UMRAH

 Assalamualaikum and hi! So as everyone knows, today would be our very last session for usrah in our foundation year. It is kinda sad but yet Allah's plans are definitely better than ours :)  This is gonna be the last sharing from our honourable Naqibah, Sister Izzah Firzanah. Hence, let's get started!  Basically, the word 'Hajj' means heading an honourable person or place. However, 'Hajj' legally means worshipping Allah by performing the Hajj rituals which are defined  as specific acts performed at a specific time and place in a specific way.  Hajj is the Fifth Pillar of Islam.
