WEEK 6 : ADAB TOWARDS PARENTS

 Assalamualaikum and hi! We are now in the 6th week of usrah. As usual, we started our session by reciting a surah that has been chosen by our naqibah. But for this week, it is not like the other days which is only selected members were assigned to recite the ayah. Today, all of us are required to recite the ayah from Surah Al Kahf but there's an exception for those who are on their periods. To be fair to each other, they got their tasks as well which is reading the translations of the ayah. 




After the recitation ended, we continued with our session by dividing our tasks in our own groups as we are all assigned to make a role play based on a chosen topic. My group got lucky when we got the chance to do the role play activity based on the topic, Adab Towards Parents. I think we could make a video that is fascinating as we are now learning at home and have the golden opportunity to shoot this with our parents :D

The tasks have been divided and I got the content part which is explaining what is the adab or manners towards our parents. We had our discussion until the session ended.

 Assalamualaikum wbt. We discussed about a topic that is related to fasting (sawm). We got to have the chance to identify what are some types of wisdom in fasting.  1) While fasting, we could practice and train ourselves to be more patient to what is coming towards us. WEEK 4 : PILLARS OF IMAN

1)   Belief in Rasul and Anbiya' (The Messengers and The Prophets) - The fourth pillar is to   believe in all prophets and messengers sent by Allah   and that the prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, is the last of them.  Most of the messengers of Allah were sent to a specific nation except Prophet Muhammad, who was sent to guide all of mankind. It is a duty of Muslims to send salaams (Peace and Blessings of Allah) when mentioning the names of any of the Prophets. 2)  Belief in Qiyamah (The Resurrection Day) - Allah has set a certain period for the whole universe , whose end will be the final hour. During the final hour, humans will be questioned about their deeds in this world. Those deeds will be weighed for them. One whose good deeds overweigh his evil deeds will prosper, while whose bad deeds outweigh his good ones will be condemned to hellfire – unless he died in the state of Islam. WEEK 7 : THE VIRTUES FOUND IN HAJJ / UMRAH

 Assalamualaikum and hi! So as everyone knows, today would be our very last session for usrah in our foundation year. It is kinda sad but yet Allah's plans are definitely better than ours :)  This is gonna be the last sharing from our honourable Naqibah, Sister Izzah Firzanah. Hence, let's get started!  Basically, the word 'Hajj' means heading an honourable person or place. However, 'Hajj' legally means worshipping Allah by performing the Hajj rituals which are defined  as specific acts performed at a specific time and place in a specific way.  Hajj is the Fifth Pillar of Islam.
